About This Role
This position is for on-site wedding beauty services only.
SERVICES MAY INCLUDE:
-Bridal makeup
-Bridal hair styling
-Wedding party hair & makeup
-Special event hair & makeup
This is not a full-time position. Most artist who thrive in this role enjoy part-time, flexible work with advance scheduling.
Scheduling & Flexibility
Weddings are not limited to weekends. Flexible availability is a plus. Work is offered only when weddings are booked.
Ideal for artists who like advance notice, not last-minute scheduling. Most weddings locations are:
Flagstaff
Sedona
Grand Canyon
Prescott
Other Northern Arizona destinations
Employment Options
We also welcome individuals who are passionate about professional bridal makeup artistry. Previous experience isn’t required. We believe exceptional artists are developed through mentorship, dedication, attention to detail, and natural artistic ability – not simple certifications.
If you have creativity, professionalism, and a passion for helping brides feel beautiful, we’re happy to mentor the right candidate. With more than 15 years of bridal beauty experience, we enjoy helping talented individuals build the skills and confidence needed to succeed in the wedding industry.
Applicants interested in providing bridal hair services must hold:
Valid Arizona Cosmetology license.

Requirements
General Requirements
Have a valid driver’s license
Reliable personal vehicle suitable for travel to on-site wedding locations throughout Northern Arizona.
Maintain current personal auto insurance.
Be comfortable driving to remote wedding venues, including locations with unpaved or uneven roads when necessary.
Freelance artists must carry professional liability insurance. (Not required for W-2 employees.)
Maintain a professional, well-organized makeup kit and tools (Required for experienced freelance artists.
Be reliable, professional, punctual, and team-oriented.
Demonstrate natural artistic ability, attention to detail, and a passion for bridal beauty.
Bridal Hair Artists
Hold a valid Arizona Cosmetology or Hairstylist License.
Maintain a professional hair tools and equipment required to perform on-site bridal hair styling.
Bridal Makeup Artists
Previous professional experience is not required.
No Arizona cosmetology or aesthetics license is required for makeup-only services.
We welcome individuals with natural artistic ability, professionalism, and a passion for bridal makeup.
Mentorship and hand-on training are available for the right candidate.
Employment - Specific Requirements
Commission Employees
Professional makeup kit and products are provided by Northern Arizona Glam Squad Weddings.
Maintain your assigned tools and equipment in excellent condition.
Freelance Artists
Provide and maintain a professional makeup kit and products that meet Northern Arizona Glam Squad Weddings’ standards.
Maintain professional liability insurance as required before providing services.
