On-Site Bridal Hair & Makeup Artists – Northern Arizona

Northern Arizona Glam Squad Weddings is always looking to connect with talented, reliable makeup artists and wedding hairstylists who love creating beautiful, confidence-boosting looks for brides and bridal parties.

If you are passionate about bridal makeup, wedding hair design, and on-site beauty services, and prefer advance notice and flexible scheduling, this may be a perfect fit.

About This Role

his position is for on-site wedding beauty services only.
Services may include:

  • Bridal makeup

  • Bridal hair design

  • Wedding party hair & makeup

  • Blowouts and styling for special events

This is not a full-time position.
Most artists who thrive in this role enjoy part-time, flexible work with advance scheduling.

Weddings are booked well in advance, and artists are contacted with specific dates (for example: May 6, 2026 – Sedona wedding).
You can accept or decline based on your availability, and artists are assigned accordingly.

Scheduling & Flexibility

  • Weddings are not limited to weekends

  • Flexible availability is a plus

  • Some months are busier than others

  • Work is offered only when weddings are booked

  • Ideal for artists who like advance notice, not last-minute scheduling

Most weddings are in Flagstaff, with additional locations including:

  • Sedona

  • Grand Canyon area

  • Prescott

  • Other Northern Arizona destinations

Employment Options

We typically offer this role as part-time commission employment, but we are also open to freelance artists depending on experience and skill level.

Compensation is based on:

  • Experience

  • Skill level

  • Service type

  • Role on the team (lead vs support artist)

Both newer artists and seasoned professionals are welcome.

  • We will train the right person who shows passion, reliability, and artistic potential

  • Experience is preferred, but not required

  • Artists must genuinely enjoy bridal beauty and on-site wedding work

  • We also welcome experienced artists who want occasional, flexible wedding work

Requirements

To work on our wedding team, artists must:

  • Hold a valid Arizona cosmetology or esthetics license (or be license-eligible)

  • Have a valid driver’s license

  • Carry personal auto insurance with solid coverage

    • In the event of an accident, artist’s insurance is primary, ours is secondary

  • Be comfortable driving to on-site wedding locations

  • Maintain a professional, up-to-date makeup kit and tools

    • Freelance artists must have a kit comparable to ours

  • Be reliable, professional, and team-oriented
