We are so excited you are considering Northern Arizona Glam Squad for your big day! Before booking, here is a helpful overview of what to expect so you feel confident and prepared throughout the planning process. We are all about making your experience as smooth and stress-free as possible.
What is required to officially reserve my wedding date?
Before securing your date, we will provide a custom bridal beauty quote tailored to your wedding details and service needs. Once you have reviewed and approved your proposal, we will send a wedding booking contract and 50% non-refundable retainer invoice.
After those are completed, your wedding date and glam team are officially reserved on our wedding calendar.
Do I need a bridal trial?
A bridal trial is highly recommended, but not required. Bridal trials allow the bride to work closely with the assigned hair and makeup artist prior to the wedding date to preview their bridal hair and makeup look.
This give both parties an opportunity to be on the same page without rushing, make any final adjustments, or offer suggestions to improve the final outcome for best results.
Brides get excited at this stage seeing their ideas come to life before the big day. Artists get excited to see their hard work come to life, and anticipation of creating a more perfected look on the day of the wedding.
In short, bridal wedding trial ensures you feel confident and radiant on your wedding day.
Does the makeup include false eyelashes?
All makeup application come with or without lashes. We offer demi wispy lashes, babies lashes, trio lashes, or individual lashes.
At an additional cost you can upgrade to MAC lashes. Please ask your makeup artist at the time of services about this option. Payment will be taken at time of service.
Do you work with clip in hair extensions?
Yes we do! Many brides like to enhance their bridal hair with clip-in hair extensions. Hair extensions can help make your hair vision come to life, and make your professional photos perfections.
If you are new to hair extensions we recommend you color match the clip in hair to the ends of your natural hair color. It is also important to purchase only 100% Remy human hair. Mix blended hair maybe heat resistant, or tangles easily.
If you have color treated hair then match the extensions to your final hair color. Your hairstylist can be a big help in matching the color finish for both.
On your wedding day, the clip-in hair extensions should arrive with you clean, and air dry. Do not flat iron the hair.
If any guest services include clip-in hair extension, please ask them to prep their extensions as well.
Please inform the wedding coordinator of how many services will include clip-in hair extensions since the time frame may need to be adjusted.
In addition, we offer rental of clip-in hair extensions. Please inquiry with the wedding coordinator, if interested.
Should I get a spray tan for my wedding?
It is a great idea because it provides a healthy, natural-looking glow that enhances your overall appearance on your big day.
It evens out your skin tone, helps conceal imperfections, and can make you feel more confident in your wedding dress.
Its a safe alternative to harmful UV tanning, ensuring your skin remains flawless without the risk of sun damage or tan lines in your wedding photos.
We offer spray tan appointments at Northern Arizona Glam Squad our downtown Flagstaff Wedding Salon. Speak with your wedding coordinator if you are interested in scheduling an appointment prior to your wedding date.
Do you offer on-site blowouts?
Yes we offer two types of on-site blowouts. The first is a traditional blowout done with a round brush to create a smooth blown out finish. No curling iron is included. The style is completed with hold and shine products.
The second is a blowout and hair design. The service is available for bride, and guest services. This a traditional blowout with curling iron or flat iron service. The hair design starts with a consultation to create a gorgeous hair design.
All blowouts services require wet, clean hair, and we recommend blowout services go first in the service line up.
Do you travel on-site for weddings?
Yes! Our team specializes in on-site bridal hair and makeup across Northern Arizona – including Flagstaff, Sedona, the Grand Canyon, Prescott, and surrounding areas. Travel fees are based on drive time from your assigned artist’s location and are finalized once your artist(s) is assigned and your beauty location is confirmed. All details and any updates are finalized in writing and reflected on your final invoice.
How early will my glam team arrive on the wedding day?
We typically arrive 15-30 minutes before the first service begins to set up and ensure we start on time. For start times before 8:00 am, an early start fee applies to cover additional preparation and travel.
What is the team coordination fee?
A $125 coordination fee applies when your booking includes more than 4 total services. This covers our wedding coordinator’s time arranging or adjusting services, organizing your beauty timeline, and coordinating with your assigned artist(s) to ensure everything runs smoothly and on time.
Can you accommodate large bridal parties?
Yes! For larger groups, our coordinator will assign additional artists as needed to complete services on time. Each artist can perform up to 6 services before another artist is needed.
Do you offer touch-ups or stay-on-site services?
Yes! All contracted services are complete, our artists provide complimentary final touch-ups for bride and bridal party before departing to ensure everyone looks their best.
If you would like an artist to remain on-site for additional touch-ups, post-ceremony photos, or style changes, we offer this service at an hourly rate of $100 per artist. Please let us know at the time of booking so we can include this option in your custom proposal and secure your artist’s extended time.
Do you offer services for all skin tones and hair types?
Absolutely. Our artists are trained in diverse beauty techniques including natural glam, soft glam, high glam, mature skin, textured skin, Asian eye makeup, and dark skin tone artistry. We take pride in providing an inclusive, professional experience for every client.
You are welcome to book either hair or makeup or both – whichever best fits your needs!
However, please note that all on-site bookings require a $410 minimum for day-of services. If only one service is booked (hair or makeup), the total must still meet this event minimum.

Yes, absolutely! Sunrise weddings are beautiful and truly magical. Because these events require early start times based on the sunrise, our team carefully plans your beauty timeline to ensure everyone is ready before first light.
We make every effort to be flexible and organized for these early events, but please note that additional early-morning fees may apply depending on your location and start time. Our team coordinator will confirm all details in writing once your timeline is finalized.

Hair color, balayage, highlights, wedding spray tans, waxing, and eyelash extensions, and hair extension rental is available for bridal clients.

Yes! Our Flagstaff salon can be reserved exclusively for your bridal party’s contracted beauty services. The space offers a calm, private environment perfect for getting ready, taking photos, and enjoying your glam experience together.
Private salon bookings are available at $150 per hour with a 2 hour minimum, which includes exclusive access to the salon, setup, cleanup, and complimentary refreshments.
Please note that only guests receiving services through Northern Arizona Glam Squad may use the salon and its amenities during this time.
Travel is billed at $75 per half hour of drive time (round trip, per artist). This accounts for drive time, set-up, and tear down for on-site services.
Lodging may be required for early morning start times or locations over 2 hours away.
Absolutely! Many brides choose the Luxury Bridal Experience for themselves and the Signature package for bridesmaids, family, or guests. We will help you customize a perfect combination for your group.
Most brides secure their date 8-12 months in advance. We only take a limited number of weddings per day to ensure each bride receives our full attention, so early booking is highly recommended – especially for peak wedding months like March, April, May, June, September, and October.
With your permission, we love capturing behind-the-scenes moments during the glam process for our portfolio and social media. These clips may show parts of the hair and makeup application or fun, candid wedding moments.
We always respect your comfort level and any privacy requests noted.
Adjustments to the number of services can be made up to 30 days before your wedding date. After that point, the contract total stand as is to ensure artist scheduling and timing remain accurate.
If any changes are made prior to that window, an addendum contract outlining your updated services will be sent via email for your review and signature to confirm the revisions.
Yes. Services that begin before 8:00 am or require artists to depart before 4:00 am are subject to an early-start fee of $200 for up to 2 artists, plus a $50 for each additional artist.
This fee covers the additional time, preparation, and safety considerations involved with very early travel and setup. If your beauty timeline changes and requires an earlier start, please discuss this with our team coordinator. All adjustments and fees must be confirmed in writing prior to your wedding day.
